heya bud,

am an avid boarder myself :) have you been before? or will this be your first time? the place to be in canada is bannf it has amazing slopes for all skill levels but its seriously pricey but to be honest no ski holiday is cheap these days!

http://www.skibanff.com/ is a good start, if you want to go to canada book it from a canadian website or use a canadian travel agent rather than one of ours! we get stung over here and u will get a far better price!

if your looking for something a little more "cost effective" look at any of the resorts in the three valleys area in France im off there myself in march great slopes again for all skill levels, the night life isnt to shabby either depending on what your out there for.

any questions let me know ill help if i can :)

Hey mate,

Ta for the info. Ive been an avid pisteman for years, I ski, board and blade depending on the slopes and conditions. I've been to Whistler before but never banff (although it was already the place I had set my sights on) Have been looking at sites like lastminute.com and prices for Banff seem to be extremely reasonable for march. Plus the way the Canadian Dollar is atm once im out there life wont be too expensive even tho its in a resort.

Ive been to the 3 Valleys a few times, I love Courcheval (partly as it was the first place I ever went) and as long as the snow is good the slopes are fantastic. Personally I prefer boarding off-piste tho...better for boards, less painful when trying to kill myself.

Will def check into the canadian agents for prices tho =) Cheers bud

Also consider Tremblant in quebec- same sort of thing but the flight is shorter and being less famous usually cheaper.

Ok well Canada got side tracked a bit by the cost. Paying for 2 people makes skiing horribly expensive even compared to normal. Ended up booking a week in Mayrhofen, Austria. Snow is good in Europe this year and I got flight, transfer, accomodation inc breakfast for £408 for both of us...YAY!

I like the look of Tremblant tho..and Jasper Basin so may have a look at those noext year. Will def be trying to find a group tho, booking for just 2 is costly!
