Would have made a topic about sig making myself, in a bit of problemos. My current sig i approved of after several tries :/ mainly its the blending of the image into the background which can get problematic. And im not too good at using the magnetic lasso tool, so i end up most of the time using ordinary lasso with feather of 15-20 px.

ok yer i will do that, thanks for the feedback. I use photoshop mate not hard when you know what to do.

think i got it what do you think now, oh and yes a rogue is duel wilding two-hand swords :D

Actually the text size is pretty big, considering that many people's sigs often has small sized text nowadays. Now the flashier part, i tried to do that with some inner or outer glow, but it just made it ugly or become totally different than intentional. the effects i have for text is setting the layer on soft light, giving it a 1 px stroke plus Bevel and Emboss. The goal is just to blend image, background and text together seamlessly, doing it perfectly is hard, but if done right, it simply becomes very nice to look at.

Other than that, the difficulty ive had with blending images, is that i have problem making the sig Kingdom hearts theme (which i want the most)... but for some reason, something keeps going wrong. Some of my better sigs are Warhammer 40,000 themed. like this one:

Otherwise the sig is ok but the name on it is crap. It should be something glorious like Jaapi.
