A little later than planned, but the forum upgrade is now complete.
Also some of you have wanted a way to donate toward the cost of running this forum. Not everyone is aware, but Ellya and myself split the initial cost of the forum software (£45 each). Whilst we were both more than happy to do so, some of you expressed a desire to help cover this cost.
Also the software does need a small annual payment to keep it up to date. Any donations made would go toward covering this cost, and other things like any additional software we may need/want, and general hosting costs. (I'm currently hosting us for free, but should the sites traffic grow it would be nice to have an emergency fund put by).
Anyway, to cut to the chase, you can now donate via paypal by going to your User CP and choosing the 'Paid Subscriptions' option from the menu on the left. If anyone would like to donate a different amount to those I have set up then please contact me via PM or email and I'll send you the details needed to do so. We're currently only accepting donations via Paypal, but if you're in the UK and want to send a cheque or money order instead you can do that too. :)
I'd like to stress that people who don't donate won't be penalised in any way whatsoever. This is a completely optional thing so please don't feel pressurised in any way. :)
There will be more features coming to the forums soon, but they will be available to everyone.
I'm keeping my eye on the arcade, but sadly it's only available as a beta to those who pay $60 for premium access at the moment. Hopefully it won't be too long before it's released to the general public (or if we get enough donations I will buy the premium access, as it gives you more games anyway).
