Def. some interesting changes/improvements.
Think the warlocks especially will welcome the introduction of Soul shard bags.
As a shaman I look forward to our new totem.
Tranquil Air Totem. Creates a totem that reduces the threat caused by nearby party members by 20%.

Some interesting changes coming up there - I like the new pet abilities :)
"Tailors now can make soul bags to hold soul shards"
Took 'em long enough.
"Omen of Clarity - This spell now works correctly with Bash, Rip, Ferocious Bite, and Demoralizing Roar, granting a decrease in the cost of the ability. Ferocious Bite will still use the entire energy bar to generate additional damage"
Good. Frickin annoying so that was.
"Aspect of the Pack and Aspect of the Cheetah - Periodic damage will no longer trigger the Dazed effect"
Nasty. Get hit once and you will be stunned. But after that DoT's won't stun you when you hit AotC to get firing range?
"Bloodthirst - The damage component has been increased to 45% of attack power"
Yay, more damage.
"Enrage - The talent will now grant 5/10/15/20/25% extra damage when enraged, instead of 8/16/24/33/40%."
No, wait, they took it away again.
"Trolls now also receive a bonus to Bow weapons in addition to Throwing weapons"

"Silithus air elementals have a slightly increased chance of dropping essence of air"
Yippee.
"Engineers with skill 250 or greater, who have completed Umi Rumplesnicker's 'Are We There Yeti?' quest line, should seek her out again in Everlook"
Gods, please tell me we can make Yeti's. That would be so cool.
"The Timbermaw Furbolgs have received a faction revamp"
Poor Drac and the others who ground their way in reputation, all that effort nerfed.
the "Looking for Group" and "Trade" channels have been unified among the corresponding cities

Soul Shard Bags
It was about time.
Now give us arrows bags so we don't have to waste a slot to carry those :)
foods that used to stack with each other (you could have two food effects on you at once) no longer will stack / Well Fed buffs from special foods will no longer stack with each other
Well done Blizzard: you've nerfed cooking and brought his usefulness near to zero.

Mwahahah...Finally having a troll over an Orc makes sense, besides being cool :)
Add-ons, Macros and Keybindings can now be saved on a per character basis, so you can have different characters load different add-ons/macros/keybindings
Ahh, this is welcome. Havind FD, send pet, feed and so on keybinding and timers for traps and stings is not really helpful when I'm playing my druid
ida Winterhoof in Thunder Bluff now sells Flowers for the sensitive Horde player

Soul Shard Bags
It was about time.

I believe they will - would be strange if they didn't, being able to hold that many shards.
And I do believe I'll have to get me one of those when the patch comes. Yay. :)
nothing for mages..but didnt expect there to be.
Itemisation changes suck..Blizz cocked up on +fire dmg as was being applied to 2 handed staves..fix going in but doesnt affest existing items..fun farming for new items.

Mages need a nerf anyway - well overpowered, (possibly)huge damage, sheep ability, paper armo... errm... ok... maybe not :p

Unofficial info on those is:
+20 damage to one spell school to gloves
+30 healing
+15 AGI to gloves
+2% reduced threat to cloak
Increased threat (forget the item)
+15 NR cloak
pffff weak changes for warlock
soul shard bag... its not the bag that bugs us, its the fact that we have to collect shards
suppose i'm in orgrimmar and i want to pvp, then i have to get to a zone with green mobs, at lvl 60, that would be 52+... get 30 - 40 shards, and that would prob get me through a few battles
and the promised end game pets improvements are also weak... 10% armor, 30% dmg... djeez. I just want an infernal or so that i can keep forever

That's actually 48+ and Azshara is close. Still it has to be annoying. :)
Guys, you're missing most important change here:
The Ignore command will now ignore emotes.

Why don't you just summon your imp and farm shards whilst you're pvp'ing (Well thats what I do if i'm low on shards). Kills two birds with one stone that way :)
I usually have to keep two full bags of shards in the bank just for instance runs so shard bags will be a very welcome addition. I assume the only reason blizz didn't just make shards stack in 5's was to add another schematic to the tailoring prof.
cause when i'm usually in pvp, i rarely have the time to keep channeling drain soul
but i just read a fantastic suggestion for end game pets... instead of breaking free every 5 minutes or less, we would have to feed them... with shards
