Hi

I doubt anyone on here knows me, but I'm 'Sarai' from PL in EQ2. Thought I'd pop in and say hello as I'm taking a little time out from 'the other game' to see what 4.5 million gamers are finding so absorbing in Azeroth! :)

I'm male, (despite my choice of gender on EQ2!), only just over 30 *cough*, and originally joined PL back in SWG on Eclipse (Mallarakk, wookie CH, played around 3 months but maxxed out my char and never really found the end-game appealing). Been playing EQ2 for about a year and it's getting a little stale, although PL there is filled with great guys and gals and I'm not packing my bags just yet!

I'll be playing around with a couple of chars to get a feel for WoW (PvE, Draenor), then when I pick one and get a few levels under my belt, would it be ok to see someone about recruitment please?

We left EQ2 to come to WoW about 6 weeks ago I think - haven't regretted it for a moment.

Hope you have fun here :)

Hi Argie and welcome!

I'm on most nights as either Hellya or Elucifa, so give me a shout next time you're on.

Meanwhile, a little light reading for you.....:P

Thanks for the responses all :)

Unfortunately, (well, maybe fortunately!) a day after this post, RL intervened in the shape of a new lady friend who is taking rather a lot of time up atm! I'm trying not to let on about my tendency towards playing MMO's just yet tbh! :rolleye11

Still, played a bit and got an Orc Shamen up to 11, having quite a bit of fun! I think he's a keeper, so next time I get a bit of playtime I'll send Hellya a mail or /tell. :)

Just do what I did and convert her to a game freak. My wife thought I was off my head the amount of time I spend at a computer (actually she still does) but she played DAoC and WoW to max level and enjoyed them both immensly.

D&D Online will be the next game I invest a lot of time in and I'm planning to get my wife into that to avoid regular ear-bashings.
