Mmorpg.com has somethin about an expansion but some of this doesn't ring true. Some of these new classes look like the have been lifted straight off of Dark and Light so I'm sceptical.

I am almost 100% certain this is a hoax.

Way too much work invloved in this "expansion" for it to be possible. In addition some of the proposals change the game mechanics so much it isn't even WoW anymore. This is just someone's wild fantasy

First play of the expansion is at Blizzcon in 2 weeks time.

We should know much more then!

As for what I think will be included:
Raised Level Cap
2 new races and 2 new classes (No new fation)
Player / Guild Housing
Northrend - New Continent
The Maelstrom... maybe.

Ooh I'd love a house. The only thing is that I don't want an EQ2 instanced house type-of-thing, I want a real town that I can walk around such as we had in SWG.

There's no room for that though :(

I would expect housing to be a mix of EQ2 and SWG, using a village type layout, but with instance entries instead of full sized buildings.

The thing im most looking forward to is a raised level cap, and lvl 60+ content, if they reveal that at Blizzcon ill place a pre-order soon as poss. What I least want to see is major changes to the game mechanics. A year in and the game still feels fresh from a gameplay perspective.

Other nice additions would be more new battlegrounds, and maybe another UBRS difficulty level instance.

I would think Hero classes will be the level expansion. So when you are 60 you pick a hero class and level in that. For xample Hunter might have 3 hero classes, Beastmaster, Sniper, Ranger. While shaman could have Far seer (If thats what trall is.) Elementalist and one more. In short a specialised class with the same kind off flavor like that from the talents
