Upgrades, new arcade, and other additions

Both the forums and the portal software have now been upgraded to the latest versions. The forum upgrade was mostly to fix a few small bugs and security issues, but it did add the capability to have your Skype username listed under your profile.

So what's new?

vbPager - it's like an instant messenger for your forum friends. It only works on the forums themselves, and with registered members. You also need to have at least 5 posts to be able to use it (this stops spammers harrassing people with the pager).

To send a pager message to somebody else, you can either click the icon under their profile in a forum post, or you can click the link to vbPager under the 'Quick Links' in the navigation bar. Keep in mind that if your status is invisible then nobody will be able to see you as online in the pager. There are also some options in the User CP relating to vbPager.

The arcade (http://www.plforums.co.uk/forums/arcade.php) system has now been added. :)

I haven't tested it much, too tired by the time I installed it. Nor are there too many games as yet, but hope to change that soon.

You can issue challenges through the arcade btw, I just haven't figured out how yet. Other than there are settings in the User CP to say whether or not you want to accept challenges etc.
