Yes, im also quite depressed with the nerfs that Blizzard keeps giving Warriors.
there is only one thing for it!
ages ago i read an artical in PC Gamer about a few guilds who made all thier members roll Gnome Warriors, and they all CRAMMED into AH, crashing the server completely, they threatened to do this on other servers as a form of protest (legal too) and this is what eventually sparked off the age old patch that actually BUFFED warrior abilities, before nerfing them over and over.
what im saying is, its time to dust off the warrior alts and piss off a load of people ;)
they might get nerf every patch
but imo they are still a very good class, you can't expect to pwn every1 all the time
if you are fed up with warrior, i'll suggest that you try class you think are over powered and then if you still think the same maube you have a point

Tauren can still be warriors !!!!!!! YEAH!!
Btw, do not agree ith you Zeb. Warriors main task is PvE tanking. If you happen to like PvP you are focked as a warrior. There is not a single class that is as gear dependend as the warrior. The problem is that if you gear up for tanking, you suck even worse in PvP. Sometimes i duel for fun with you guys before we start a raid in Kargath. The only way i can kill you is dying from laughing. It takes a little while longer, but a level 10 mage does more damage then me. I favour PvE and i love my warrior. I do have a character in everyclass tho and believe me... the warrior is the most difficult one to get around.
funny you say that Zhebus :P i spent last night on my shaman (which i had the misconception of thinking was overpowered) and i ended up helping a lvl 10 shaman called Nerfmeplz and just spent the night discussing shamans, class's and doing his fire totem quest
every shaman remembers his fire totem quest...
Unfortunately not every class can be good both in pvp and pve due to the talent trees choices and the gear. Druids and priests have the same issue: either they spec for powerful damage or they spec for strong healing capability.
Not only warriors have it hard these days. I'm still crushing my head on the wall every time I see my cat chasing a mob/player slow as a dead cow after 1.9. They are taking out differences and nuances of the game and this is really bad.
True, warriors are extremely gear dependant, hunters are a lot too.
But still, I think warriors can be very good at pvp if equipped well and with the right talent specialization; and also like the druids, they can go around with 2 sets: one for tanking and one for damage.
Btw, I have not much experience playing warriors; what I say is based on my experience of playing against them.
The thing is that all the latest nerfs have come on the basis of the extreme minority of warriors that can manage to get the hands on the best equipment around and manage to cause massive damage... its these that Blizzard has the intention of nerfing, but doing so they are gimping the large majority of warriors that will never see these very powerfull high end equipment and much less use them.
As it is, Warriors takes alot if not the most effort to succeed with, and to be able to compete in PvP with the other classes, its either get loaded with end game epics or spend much of the time in PvP corpserunning.
amen to that Cordar, playing a warrior up even past lvl 10 is just a painfull, flashback inducing nightmare, considering my gnome warrior got virtually owned by one mob, and stood no hope when one added (which did, every time)
although Giul, the only class exempt from the PvP PvE dilemma (in my opinion) is the rogue, ever since Kreyzy helped me respec, i never had any problems in PvE or PvP :)

Aye, that's one more issue: first Blizzard puts a bunch of godly top end epic melee weapons into the game and then they nerf the class because those few peeps who actually get them are owning everyone and their dogs in pvp. Well thought.
And doing so of course they screw up all players, cause the class is the same for all.
Blizzard seems to be more and more organizing the game around the few elite raiders, instead of the large player basis.
And aye, agree on the second point; the class seems to live on extreme and opposites: either you are an unstoppable machine mowing through peeps or your chances are quite reduced.

Sure, rogues have a lot of flexibility, but hunters also have quite some choices. The survival tree is very good and I find that it suits well both pvp and pve.
Personally, after playing for a bit with BM and for some time with MM, I went for a 21/30 MM/SV and took traps for some party utility (instead of the standard deterrence-counterattack).
It's on par with MM builds and it gives me nice chances in pvp.
Also Warlocks have quite some choices to mix up things (even though I have little experience) imo.

thats very true i currently have a alt of every class mainly low but i thought rogues were overpowered but its how you play them im working on my warrior at the moment (used to be hard to kill as a hunter still are but...) and they hard work to use lol i still think pallys are just cheaters wth is with the ranged exacute low on hp sheild and hp now your going to lose shield and hearthstone its bullpoop
i love the way we quote everyone ;)
