I am posting this cos I dident know this was introduced in the last patch I asume it was anyway and no one I talk to about it knows of them.It seems I have actually descovered something before everyone else it usually the other way round:) Anyway...

Anyone else seen the new fishing "nodes"? A bit like a ore or herb node but in the water close to the shore.
I have seen "sholes of fish" and "floating debris" you need to keep casting your line till you get it in the circle then you can fish it. I got some fish that heal and replace mana in the fish one and a goody box from the other one. So far I have found you get 3 or 4 goes till it disapears like an ore node.
I have found 2 so far both in lordamere lake. Anyone found any others anywhere? or know anything else about them? or new thay where coming?

I knew about them but I still have to try them.
Apparently they introduced some new types of fish, which can be caught in those nodes and they moved some of the old types in the nodes too, making them even more difficult to catch.

Lordamere Lake is the lake right outside Undercity, you know the Undead homeland, en route to Silverpine Forest.

I would give you a compass but I am sure you would still get lost.

Lordamere lake, you know the lake behind Undercity, you know the city also called Lordaeron city :p

I'v seen this off the east coast of Tanaris Desert at Steemwheedle Port, unfortunetly I was to low in fishing skills to fish them.

Tanaris is a sweet spot..pools of oily blackmouths and firefins and mithril bound trunks

STV has two types ..greater sagefish pools on the river above and below lake nefarion and on lake nefarion. Also along coast are firefin and oily blackmouth pools..trunks are ironbound.


If this isn't nerfed soon i will be gobsmacked.
