Ok I am considering buying a gaming PC to replace my Mac system
I don't want to spend to much, under £500 maybe a bit more, the machine will obviously need to run WoW with excellent framrates especially in MC.
So any advice peeps
no less than 128M graphic card m8
at least 1 gig ram, and 2.4 processor

Thats pretty much the same spec that I've been using since beta (until an upgrade last weekend) you should have no problems at all with it :)
Good spec for wow - go with that. :)
Can-able

Only issue i would say mate is the 350 W PSU , that GFX card will eat power , So if you upgrade in the future you might find you don't have enough power output.
Also ATI drivers suck. my only consern
P.S don't Don't get anything from PCworld... i work for there Tec support :D
yeh power looks low for that lot, get more power in there

looks good to me. Should run well. As with all MMOs memory is the key, both onboard and on vcard. 128 Mg is fine, and 1 gig is the minimum (get more if ye can), processor speed is less important if you want to cut corners.
One comment though; there have been problems with Asus and certain memory sticks in WoW (I know from personal experience). Use the recommended brand of memory for Asus : Kingston. Its a tad more expensive but worth it, as it avoids you alot of potential heartache.
aye up the psu for definate

Only thing I notice missing is a decent CPU heatsink/fan, would thoroughly recommend you buy a half decent one, as they are a very cheap upgrade.
Personally, for the tiny cost on top, I would get a slightly larger drive, maybe a 120Mb or a 160Mb, just because it would give me the real hump to run out of room.
Nice gaming PC tho Orcan, and a nice price too
